A magnifying glass highlighting Thailand on a detailed world map, ideal for travel-themed visuals.

Traveling has been a lifelong passion of mine, ingrained in me from birth. My father, a successful corporate executive, moved us from city to city, climbing the corporate ladder. By the time he passed away when I was 15, we had lived in four states, five cities, and eight different houses. After his death, my mother became a schoolteacher in South Georgia. There, I was surprised to meet classmates who had never left their hometown. I had always believed that everyone traveled. Learn more about the author in the sections that follow.

My love for travel continued on. While I attended grad school and pursued my dreams of acting and directing in New York and Los Angeles, I continued to travel. I’ve visited 49 states (still need to check off Alaska) and driven across the country 11 times. In my 40s, I began exploring the world. I started to broaden my horizons beyond the U.S. I have been to 25 countries not including airports (that’s cheating). Here is a link to all the places I have been.

Aside from traveling, I am an award-winning filmmaker and theatre director, author, performer, and producer. I currently live in Atlanta, GA. I also write about entertainment, Hollywood, movie and eatery reviews, and sometimes pop culture. So my blog is very eclectic.

I recently published my first books of fiction – Three Days in Hamburg & Other Stories and Three Day Trilogy which can be found on Amazon/Kindle.
